1. PLURALISM (VERB) : (अनेकता की स्थिति) : Diversity
Synonyms: cultural diversity, ethnic mosaic
Antonyms: sameness, uniformity
Example Sentence: He has never ruled out a return to pluralism, but now he says he will consider the multiplicity.
2. REDEMPTIVE (NOUN) : (विमोचक) : Redeeming
Synonyms: compensating, extenuating
Antonyms: offending, transgressing
Example Sentence: Much greater stress is laid upon the redemptive than upon the creative function.
3. SURPLUS (ADJECTIVE) : (अधिकता) : Excess
Synonyms: leftover, unused
Antonyms: essential, necessary
Example Sentence: There is a surplus of workers and not enough jobs.
4. TOUT (VERB) : (अपनी संपदा या चातुर्य का प्रदर्शन करना) : Showoff
Synonyms: praise, brag about
Antonyms: blame, conceal
Example Sentence: He was touting, trying to make a really big impression.
5. BEMUSED (ADJECTIVE) : (हतबुद्धि) : Absent-minded
Synonyms: distracted, engrossed
Antonyms: bored, disinterested
Example Sentence: She looked a little bemused.
6. ABAFT (ADVERB) : (पीछे) : To the rear
Synonyms: astern, behind
Antonyms: front, ahead
Example Sentence: The passengers moved abaft of the ship so as to escape the fire in the front of the ship.
7. ABERRANT (ADJECTIVE) : (अनैतिक) : Abnormal
Synonyms: deviant, weird
Antonyms: normal, usual
Example Sentence: This somewhat aberrant behaviour requires an explanation.
8. EVASIVE (ADJECTIVE) : (कपटपूर्ण) : Deceptive
Synonyms: misleading, cagey
Antonyms: truthful, forthright
Example Sentence: The news anchor learned nothing from the politician’s evasive responses.
9. OSTENSIBLY (ADVERB) : (प्रकट रूप से) : Apparently
Synonyms: evidently, seemingly
Antonyms: improbably, obscurely
Example Sentence: The party secretary resigned, ostensibly from ill health.
10. STUMBLE (VERB) : (गिर पड़ना) : Bumble
Synonyms: fall, falter
Antonyms: straighten, fix
Example Sentence: She stumbled on the stairs for she was feeling drowsy.
